Product Usage

The yaw gear ring is a key component in the wind turbine yaw system, like a large sliding bearing. It is located at the bottom of the engine seat, its lower end connected with the tower barrel by bolts, the upper sliding surface supports the entire turbine room mechanism, and the outer ring is meshing with the output gears of four yaw reducers. Yaw motors drive the turbine room mechanism to rotate slowly, to adjust the direction of the wind impellers. The design life of the yaw gear ring is generally 20 years. Due to its special installation position, it is difficult to maintain and expensive to replace in the use process, so there are higher manufacturing accuracy and strength requirements.

For The Corrosion Protection Of The Yaw Gear Ring

We adopt the arc spraying long-term corrosion protection technology. It uses the special arc spraying equipment to melt the corrosion-resistant metal (pure aluminum or zinc), atomizes it, and spray on the surface of the workpiece to form a metal arc spraying layer. Its technical characteristics are:

(1) long anti-corrosion life, up to more than 20 years.

(2) High coating adhesion.

(3) High coating quality.

Process line: semi-finished product preparation → pre-cleaning → workpiece pre-protection → sandblasting → arc spraying → sealing treatment.
