The knuckle arm is the last stage of the power transmission device of the steering gear. The knuckle arm is mounted on the left and right knuckles, and the other end is connected with a ball pin and a tie rod. The knuckle arm is forged with the same material as the steering knuckle and is heat treated to achieve the same hardness as the knuckle. Generally, the hardness can increase the fatigue life of the part. However, if the hardness is too high, the toughness of the original part is too poor, and the machining is difficult.
