Product Application
Low alloy steel is based on carbon steel, has a similar metallographic structure to the corresponding carbon steel, and adds alloying elements to improve mechanical properties.
With the increased market demand for low alloy steel material castings, we invested large costs and time to improve the production processes and quality control.
In order to overcome the first big grain size of alloy steel, hot cracking, and temper brittleness defects, we developed strict control procedures for each production process to solve and avoid the casting defects. Especially on the control measures of smelting and hot spot. It’s the key point during low alloy steel casting production.
