A horizontal multi-stage centrifugal pump consists of water inflow section, water outflow section, middle section, tail-hood, impeller, shell, principle axis, bearing, seal ring, stuffing box, and some other components. Sub-sectioned shell is mainly used to immobilize the principle axis and impeller.
