Production Process

Gray iron is a kind of cast iron. The carbon is in the form of flake graphite. The fracture is gray, and has good cutting performance and wear resistance. It has excellent properties of shock absorption, low notch sensitivity, and high wear resistance. Usually used for manufacturing equipment' frames, boxes, and body, etc.

For high surface quality and high dimensional accuracy required Cast Iron Parts, we recommend to use the Pre-coated sand casting process.

1) We have high pressure and large size “sand injection machines”, that can make the casting body, pouring system, and feeders in Integration, instead of the manual splice. In this way, the potential casting defects and any low controllability problems can be prevented to the maximum.

2) Different Casting roughness can be realized by using different sizes of sand.

3) The cast iron parts have better geometrical tolerance than all the other sand casting processes because the sand shells have better strength, compactness, density, and granularity than manual sand shells.
